Woman attacked while at stop sign

SNELLVILLE - Police are looking for two men who raped and forced a Loganville woman into the trunk of her car Friday night.

A 24-year-old woman was driving alone about 10 p.m. when a man reached into the driver's side window of her black Mercedes, hitting her in the head with a blunt object, police said.

The woman was stopped at a stop sign on Ridgedale Drive and Pinehurst Road in

Snellville - a mostly residential area - when she was attacked, Gwinnett County Police Department spokesman Cpl. Darren Moloney said.

After hitting her, the man got into the vehicle while a second man entered the vehicle through a passenger-side door, Moloney said. Both are described as skinny black men possibly 16 to 20 years old.

Moloney said both were wearing black hooded sweatshirts and dark colored sweatpants and had white bandannas with a black design over their faces.

Moloney said the pair drove the woman to a second location in Snellville, not far from Ridgedale Drive and Pinehurst Road, where both men physically and sexually assaulted her. The woman was then forced into the trunk of her car and driven around Snellville, Moloney said.
