Gwinnett Tech to host open house for Cisco Specialist program
•LAWRENCEVILLE - Gwinnett Technical College will host an open house at 6:30 p.m. today for current and potential students interested in the college's Cisco CCNP Specialist Certificate program. The open house will be held in building 700, room 2.308, at Gwinnett Tech.
The Cisco CCNP Specialist Certificate program prepares students to install, configure and troubleshoot local and wide area networks for enterprise organizations.
Interested students have until June 11 to complete their application for the summer quarter.
Safety group conference set for today
•DULUTH - The Safety and Health Resource Association will hold its annual conference today at the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce.
The event helps educate workers and provides an opportunity for safety, health and human resource managers to obtain safety tips and procedures from other businesses in Gwinnett.
The conference begins at 8 a.m. and lasts until 3:30 p.m.
There is no fee for members of SHRA, but nonmembers must pay $65 for the entire day, which includes breakfast, lunch and breaks.
