Mr. Larry Brown, age 78, of Buford, GA, passed away on Sunday, May 6, 2007. He is survived by his: Son and Daughter-in-Law: Matt and Karen Brown, Suwanee, GA; Daughter and Son-in-Law: Lisa and Tony Chapek, Lawrenceville, GA; Six Grandchildren: Chris Brown, Kevin Brown, Jay Brown, Andrew Brown, T. J. Chapek, Daniel Chapek; Sisters: Ruth Christensen, Avoca, IA, Dorothy Hilderbrand, Hancock, IA; Several Nieces, Nephews and Cousins. Mr. Brown was born March 16, 1929 in Hancock, IA. He was a graduate of the University of Iowa. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served in the Korean War. He was the owner of Delta Pipe Products in Atlanta and also in Fort Worth, TX. He was a member of the Braselton Lions Club and was of the Methodist Faith. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 10, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Chaplain Samuel Parsons officiating. Albert William Barden, age 95 of Dacula, GA, died suddenly Saturday, May 5, 2007. Mr. Barden has been cremated and a Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Mr. Barden was preceded in death by his wife, Henrietta B. Barden. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Linda Barden, Dacula and Sister, Agnes Hoeffler, NY. Mr. Barden was a native of Seneca, New York and had lived in the metro Atlanta area the past seven years. He was retired from American Can Co. after 42 years of service, a member of Faith Presbyterian Church, Baltimore and a life time member of the Elks Club. Mr. Wild was born on November 5, 1925 in New Orleans, LA. He was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a retired fireman from the New Orleans Fire Department after 40 years of service. Mary Bower, age 77, of Lawrenceville, passed away on Sunday, May 6th, 2007. She had been fighting Parkinson's Disease for 7 years. She is survived by her husband: John Bower; daughters: Mary Jo McGhee of Suwanee, GA, Kathy Johnston and her husband, Bill of Woodstock, GA; sons & daughters in law: Mike & Jane Bower of Bluegrass, IA, Joe & Laurie Ugrin Bower of Helena, MT; brother: Joe Hart of Altoona, IA; sister: Rosalie Graham of W. Des Moines, IA; grandchildren: Bill, Tyler, Tess, Jessica, John, Ryan, Annabelle and Christopher. Harry J. Chapman, age 98, of Loganville, passed away on May 6, 2007. He served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII. He is a church member of Corinth Baptist Church and a very godly man who loved his family and friends; he will be missed by all. Certainly, he was blessed by his Lord with a long life and a peaceful passing.
