She was a member of Rainbow Park Baptist Church, DeKalb Federation of Garden Clubs, where she was a past president, Designers Club, where she was a junior judge, and the Jasmine Garden Club. She was an avid gardener who could grow anything. Her gentle Christian testimony was an inspiration to all that loved and cared for her. Suzon, Sam and Ed wish to extend love and honor to those, especially Goldie, Carol and Mary, who looked after Ruth so lovingly during her last years on earth. She would say to all, Don't cry for me, I'm dancing with the angels. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons on Friday, June 8th at 11 a.m., Rev. Mike Day officiating. Burial will follow in the First Baptist Church of Locust Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at A. S. Turner & Sons.
