SNELLVILLE - A Snellville man charged with animal cruelty for his alleged treatment of 11 Doberman pinschers will have a preliminary hearing Wednesday.
"Mr. Elliott Reese turned himself in at the Gwinnett County Jail," said Snellville Police Sgt. Ray Gunter. Reese's wife Shawn was arrested last week and accused of similar animal cruelty, two felony charges and nine misdemeanor charges. Shawn Reese had a preliminary hearing Thursday afternoon when her charges were referred to Superior Court. Her bond was set at $30,000. The Reeses, whom police said were breeding Dobermans, allegedly starved two dogs and mistreated nine others.More like this story
