Prep Roundup: Dashiell scores 50th goal in Collins Hill 3-0 victory

SUWANEE - Collins Hill's all-time goal-scorer Sara Dashiell scored her 50th career goal to help the Eagles shut out North Gwinnett 3-0 on Thursday.

Alexa Jones had two goals and one assist for the Eagles ,(6-7, 4-8 Region 7-AAAAA) while Melissa Whelan and Kaitlin Induni had the shutout in goals for Collins Hill.

GIRLS SOCCER

Parkview 4, Shiloh 2

SNELLVILLE - Marah Falle scored two goals for Parkview as the Panthers topped Shiloh 4-2 on Thursday.

Megan Geiger had a goal and two assists, while Ginny Leviton scored a goal. Morgan Kammer and Kim Spence each had an assist, while Ashley Baker was the goalkeeper for Parkview.

Kristen Green had 17 saves for Shiloh. The Panthers are now 13-0 overall and 5-0 in region, while the Generals are 6-7 overall and 3-3 in region.

Mill Creek 2, Chamblee 0

CHAMBLEE - Lauren Fugel and Alexa Ruggieri each scored a goal to help Mill Creek beat Chamblee 2-0 on Thursday.

Jennifer Vincent registered the shutout in goal as Mill Creek's record improves to 6-4-1 overall and 2-3 in region.

Providence 4, Calhoun 0

NORCROSS - Providence shut out Calhoun 4-0 on Thursday.

Mary Katherine Franklin scored two goals while Tori Lopez and Maggie Brown each scored a goal for Providence.

Taylor Sorrells registered the shutout in goal. Providence is now 10-1.

Collins Hill 2,

North Forsyth 0

SUWANEE - Collins Hill shut out North Forsyth 2-0 on Thursday afternoon.

Alex Orellana and Jonathan Hazard each scored a goal for Collins Hill as its record improves to 5-2 in region.

Marist 2, Brookwood 1

ATLANTA - Ryan Christopher scored the only goal for Brookwood as the Broncos fell to Marist 2-1 on Thursday.

John Young had the assist while Jamie Deal was in goal with six saves for Brookwood.

The Broncos are now 10-4 overall and 5-0 in region

8-AAAAA.

Parkview 3, Shiloh 2

SNELLVILLE - Blake Brettschneider scored the only two regulation goals for Parkview as the Panthers beat Shiloh 3-2 after PKs on Thursday.

Kristoff Thompson had 20 saves for Shiloh. Parkview improves its record to 11-2 overall and 5-0 in region, while Shiloh is now 6-7 overall and 3-3 in region.

Norcross 1,

Forsyth Central 0

NORCROSS - Ade Adelke scored the only goal to help Norcross top Forsyth Central 1-0 on Thursday night.

Enrique Miranda registered the shutout for Norcross which improves to 8-5-1 overall and 3-3 in region.

Mill Creek 4,

Cedar Shoals 1

ATHENS - Cody McCulloch and Jacob Brown each scored two goals to help Mill Creek beat Cedar Shoals 4-1 on Thursday.

Eric York and Roberto Soto each had two assists for Mill Creek as its record improves to 5-6-1 for the year.

Providence 5, Calhoun 1

NORCROSS - Nathan Brannen scored two goals for Providence as the Stars topped Calhoun 5-1 on Thursday.

Jonathan Hull had one goal and three assists, while Tyler Hoyt and Jon Demonbreun each had a goal for Providence.

The Stars are now 11-2-1 for the year.

GRAYSON - Grayson swept Parkview 5-0 on Thursday.

Alex Clay, Sonia Anand and Carrie Smith all won in singles play while the teams of Catherine Williams and Amanda Craig at No. 1 and Holly Craig and Lindsay Murano won at No. 2 each won in doubles play.

NORCROSS - Hailey Denson won at No. 1 singles to help the Broncos top Collins Hill 3-2 on Thursday at Hudlow Park.

Jordan Johnston and Katie Williams won at No. 1 doubles while Stephanie Hedlund and Nicole Hernandez won at No. 2 doubles for Brookwood.

Central 4, Berkmar 1

LAWRENCEVILLE - Rachel Johnson and Stephanie Hollingsworth each won their singles matches to help Central Gwinnett beat Berkmar 4-1 on Thursday.

Hilary Milaswki and Meghan Jackson at No. 1 while Jennifer Hollingsworth and Madison Beckett at No. 2 each won their doubles matchess for Central.

Lauren Maness won at No. 1 singles for Berkmar. The Black Knights improved their record to 4-3.

NORCROSS - Amanda Wikman won at No. 1 singles to help North Gwinnett defeat Norcross 5-0 on Thursday.

Nicole Coch and Caroline Bogue each won at singles matches while in teams Amber Green and Emily Douglas at No. 1 and Lauren Hamnett and Kara Finnegan at No. 2 won at doubles.

North is now 13-3 and 8-0 in region.

Buford 4, Paideia 1

BUFORD - Audrey Marlette and Jordan Poole won singles matches to help Buford beat Paideia 4-1 on Thursday.

Shelby Dasher and Whitney Holman won at No. 1 doubles while Molly Davis and Ashton Simpson won at No. 2 doubles for the Wolves.

Buford's record is now 13-4 overall.

Peachtree Ridge 4, Duluth 1

DULUTH - Peachtree Ridge beat Duluth 4-1 to improve its region record to

7-2 on Thursday.

Head coach Chrissie Bolt saw all of her seniors win their last regular season match to lead them into the region playoffs starting next week.

Amanda Barnes and Vyjoo Lakshmipathy each won singles matches while teams Sierra Afzali and Chelsea Young at No. 1 and Jeanna Courter and Moi Li at No. 2 won at doubles for Peachtree Ridge.

Meadowcreek 3, Shiloh 2

SNELLVILLE - Meadowcreek beat Shiloh 3-2 Thursday night.

De'jah Cartier won at No. 3 singles while Collin Brantley and Chelsea Kearns won at No. 1 doubles for Shiloh.

The Black Knights are now 3-13.

NORCROSS - Heather Heisel, Amanda Jackson and Liz Crist each won their singles matches to help Providence top Galloway 6-0 on Thursday.

Rebecca Smith and Rachael Swindall won at No. 1 doubles while Julie Ferris and Lucy Elliot won at No. 2 doubles. Emma Auman and Rebecca Swindall won at No. 3 doubles as the Stars improved their record to 14-0.

GRAYSON - Ethan Motz won at No. 1 singles to help the Parkview Panthers top the Grayson Rams 4-1 on Thursday.

Clayton Warber and Jason Bennett won singles matches while the teams of Joseph Najjar and William Dove at No. 1 and Brandon Patrick and Ryan Lipson at No. 2 each won in doubles play.

LAWRENCEVILLE - Matt Jackson and Scott Povlak each won in singles play for Central Gwinnett as the Black Knights beat Berkmar 4-1 on Thursday.

The teams Ethan Vass and John Hummel won at No. 1 while Hamied Shirazingejad and Taylor Bucknor won at No. 2 doubles for Central.

DULUTH - Peachtree Ridge blanked Duluth 5-0 on Thursday afternoon.

BUFORD - Ben Hunter and Fletcher Cline each won their singles matches to help the Buford Wolves top Paideia 4-1 on Thursday.

Ryan Martin and Preston Benson won at No. 1 doubles while Nick Harford and Ben Davis won at No. 2 doubles for Buford. The Wolves are now 15-2 for the year.

DANIELSVILLE - Dacula shut out Madison County 5-0 on Thursday afternoon.

Kevin Ramberg, Anwar Ferdinand and Josh Kline each won at singles matches while the teams of Brandon Tucker and Zach Nelson at No. 1 and Ryan Meyer and Zach Crowe at No. 2 each won at doubles.

North downs Dacula

SUWANEE - North Gwinnett beat Dacula 72-88 on Thursday in Suwanee.

Louisa Yang was the low medalist with a 35 while Alicia Poole shot a 37 for Dacula.

Melanie Garland shot a 43 for North.

BOYS GOLF

North rolls over Dacula

SUWANEE - North Gwinnett beat Dacula 158-171 on Thursday.

Michael Lee shot a low of 36 while Ben Compton and Michael Hillman each shot a 40 for North.

Murray Flint shot a 38 while Tyler Roberts shot a 42 for Dacula.

Hebron falls in tri-match

McDONOUGH - Eagle's Landing Christian won and shot a 162, Pike County shot a 204, and Hebron totaled a 210 in the tri-match played at Eagle's Landing Christian on Thursday.

Michael Owens was the low medalist for Hebron with a 42.
