NORCROSS - Investigators continue to look for two woman who robbed a Norcross Waffle House on Wednesday morning.
Norcross Police Department spokesman Capt. Brian Harr said the women entered the restaurant at Peachtree Industrial Boulevard and Medlock Bridge Road about 1:05 a.m. demanding employees give them money from the register. Harr said one of the women was armed with a gun and the other with a knife. One of the black women was dressed in camouflage pants and a hoodie, the other in sweats, Harr added. The women forced the employees and customers into a back room before fleeing with about $450 to $500, Harr said. "At this point we are following up with some leads and with other agencies," Harr said. Investigators do not believe the women are responsible for any other recent or similar robberies, Harr said. No other robberies with suspects fitting the women's descriptions have been found, Harr added. "Right now we are treating this as an isolated incident," Harr said. Waffle House employees cited company policy and said they could not answer questions concerning the robbery.More like this story
