Mable Ruth McCart Brownlee, age 79 of Grayson, GA, a longtime resident of Snellville, GA passed away March 27, 2007. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Carl "T.C." McCart and Myrtice Britt McCart of Snellville; her two sisters, Avis Peters of Snellville and Montine Clower of Covington; brother-in-law, A.W. Peters; mother and father-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Brownlee of Snellville; brother-in-law, Gerald Brownlee of Snellville. She leaves behind her husband of 64 years, Lavette Brownlee of Grayson (formerly of Snellville); daughters and sons-in-law, Brenda and Jack Butler of Loganville, Debbie and Gary Lewis of Grayson; grandchildren, Lisa Jenkins Mobley, Troy Mobley both of Mountain Ranch, CA, Dana Jenkins Brooks, Mark Brooks both of Lawrenceville, Gavin Lewis of Grayson; great grandchildren, Emily and Christian Brooks of Lawrenceville, Grayson Mobley of Mountain Ranch, CA; sisters and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Randol Britt of Snellville, Thelma Brownlee of Snellville; several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Brownlee was along time member of Snellville First Baptist Church where in early years, taught Sunday school and was involved in other areas of the church. She retired from Rich's Department Store where she started working in 1960 at Lenox Square and was working at North DeKalb when she ended her service with the company she truly loved. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother. She lived her life for her family who always came first. She had a kind word and sweet smile for everyone she met. She will be missed by all but will have left a special part in our hearts and a lot of sweet memories with all who knew her. Mr. Cecil Calvin Chambers, age 79, of Lawrenceville, GA, passed away Tuesday, March 27th, 2007. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War, and a member of Hebron Baptist Church in Dacula. Mr. Chambers had been a resident of Atlanta during the years of 1966 through 1988. He was preceded in death by his wife, Eula Lee Turner Chambers. Surviving family members include daughter and son-in-law, Donna and James Mills, of Atlanta; son, Richard L. Chambers, of Lawrenceville; sisters, Ellavie Waden, of Pensacola, Florida and Retha Overstreet, of Blairsville; and brothers, Roger Chambers, of Blue Ridge, GA, Earl Chambers, of Morganton, GA, and Winston Chambers, of Blairsville; grandchildren, Holli Mills of Charlotte, NC, and Courtni Mills, of Atlanta; many nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive. Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, March 30, 2007, at 1:00 p.m., at Bethlehem Baptist Church, with Brother James Mills officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Mary Elizabeth Miller, age 48 of Loganville, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 25, 2007. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Lilburn. She is survived by her husband, Don R. Miller; children, John Miller of Social Circle, GA, Kelly Chandler of Indianapolis, IN, Stephen Miller of Waco, TX, and Anthony Miller of Loganville, GA; brothers, Ross Hart, John Hart, Steve Hart, all of Houston, TX and Andrew Hart of Madison, WI; and 10 grandchildren. Myrtis Arlene Rudasill, age 63 of Snellville, GA died March 28, 2007. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Hoyte Rudasill and sister, Juanita Hillis. She is survived by her son, Martin Rudasill of Snellville; sisters, Betty James of AL, Carylon and Harry Rudasill of Cornelia, GA, Christine and Horace Thompson of Redan, GA, Corine and Julian Presley of Loganville, Barbara Sue and Eddie George of Stone Mountain, Brenda Swann of Snellville; brothers, James W. and Michelle Swann of Loganville, Albert and Brenda Swann of Loganville; brother-in-law, Earl Hillis of Royston. Arlene was a loving and faithful wife and mother. She suffered most of her life with bodily ailments but had a joyous attitude and spirit. She loved her Lord and her church and served them both faithfully. She will be greatly missed by family and friends.
