LOGANVILLE - A job fair for United States veterans featuring 45 prospective employers will be held in Loganville on Wednesday.
The event, co-sponsored by the Georgia Department of Labor and the American Legion, will be held at American Legion Post 233 on Atlanta Highway from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Job seekers are advised to bring plenty of resumes, be prepared to fill out company applications and be ready to interview for available job openings. "This veterans' job fair is designed to bring employers and organizations in Gwinnett, Newton, Rockdale and Walton counties together with veterans and others who are seeking employment or career guidance," said Michael Thurmond, State Labor Commissioner.More like this story
