LAWRENCEVILLE - Though the Aurora Theatre intended to celebrate the grand opening of its new building with a show there in April, the group's plans have changed.
The Aurora's next show is now set to be presented at its temporary theater at Lawrenceville City Hall.
"Italian American Reconciliation" will open April 12 and continue through May 6 at the Aurora's interim theater in City Hall. The show, a story of two best friends, will star Anthony Rodriguez, producing artistic director of the Aurora, and Al Stilo, director of sales and marketing for the theater.
"Noises Off" was scheduled to open in April at the new theater. The show calls for a two-story set that would have been well-suited for the venue, which is housed in a former church building in downtown Lawrenceville. This production will be rescheduled for a date that has not yet been determined.
The Aurora plans to move into its new building, located in a former church in downtown Lawrenceville, later this spring. "Camelot," the last show of its 2006-07 season, is set to open there May 31.
