LAWRENCEVILLE - A Lawrenceville resident drowned in Lake Lanier on Thursday, officials said Friday.
Authorities recovered the body of Tien Ta, 19, at 6:23 p.m. Thursday from the lake, said Melissa Cummings, spokeswoman for the Department of Natural Resources. Cummings said she did not know the details of how the drowning occurred or where Ta's body was recovered.More like this story
