Gwinnett Daily Post
A successful debut season of putting local high school football on TV has brought Play-By-Play Advertising back for season No. 2.
Play-By-Play has announced its 2007 schedule of games it plans to broadcast on tape delay, starting with the Aug. 31 season opener between Norcross and Duluth. Mark Blumen and Frank Fore provided commentary on the games last year, and both return to those duties on the show, known as the North Atlanta High School Game of the Week. "This year will be bigger and better," said Blumen, the show's producer. "We're excited, and we've added a sideline reporter this year." In addition to the three on-air commentators, the game coverage has expanded to the use of three cameras along with two engineers and two assistants. Several schools will have TV coverage multiple times this year, led by Grayson with three appearances - Oct. 5 vs. South Gwinnett, Oct. 19 vs. Central Gwinnett and Oct. 26 vs. Brookwood. Brookwood, Buford, South Gwinnett and defending Class AAAAA state champion Peachtree Ridge each appear twice on this season's schedule.
