Man attacks teen with tube

•LAWRENCEVILLE - A 19-year-old said he was robbed while walking from work to a friend's home Monday night.

The teen said a black man approached him as he was walking along Scenic Highway in Lawrenceville about 6:20 p.m., according to a police report. The man demanded the 19-year-old's money and began hitting him with a tube-like object on the face and arm until the teen threw more than $200 at him and walked away.

Pizza Hut employee robbed

•LILBURN - Nearly $2,000 was stolen from a Pizza Hut employee Sunday morning while he was attempting to make a business deposit.

According to a police report, the employee was at Wachovia bank at 1001 Killian Hill Road shortly before 10 a.m. when a black man armed with a black handgun demanded the employee give him the bag of money he was carrying. After handing over the money, the employee was sprayed twice in the face with mace before the man fled in a gray Mazda.

Man robs SunTrust

•LILBURN - A man armed with a silver handgun demanded money from three bank tellers Friday before fleeing with more than $7,000, a police report said.

A black man entered the Suntrust bank located in side the Publix at 4051 Stone Mountain Highway about 12:15 p.m. and demanded money from one teller then moved on to two others. The man demanded only 50 and 100 dollar bills from the employees. The man stuffed the money in his pockets before leaving the bank.
