SUWANEE - A man was killed and others were injured in a two-car crash in Suwanee on Wednesday.
Gwinnett County Police Department Spokesman Cpl. Darren Moloney said it appears a man riding in a Toyota passenger car was killed when the driver of the car failed to halt at a stop sign and the car collided with a Ford SUV. The Toyota was traveling through a stop sign controlled intersection at Crestridge Drive and Crestridge Court when the two collided shortly after noon. Moloney said the man driving the SUV was not hurt, but others inside the Toyota were injured and taken to Gwinnett Medical Center for treatment. "There were others in the car (Toyota), but I'm not sure how many," Moloney said. As of press time Wednesday Moloney said the names of and information about the deceased, the other occupants in the Toyota and the driver of the Ford are not yet being released. Moloney said he is waiting on that information from investigators.More like this story
