Marvin Strickland, age 78, of Lawrenceville, passed away Friday, June 15, 2007. Funeral Services will be held 11 AM Monday, June 18, 2007 in the Lawrenceville Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home. Rev. Michael Soop & Rev. Barney Williams will officiate. Burial Gwinnett Memorial Park, Lawrenceville. Mr. Strickland was a Veteran of the United States Army in the Korean Conflict & a member of Eastside Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his son, Billy Marvin Strickland. Mr. Strickland is survived by Wife: Geraldine Bruce Strickland, Lawrenceville; Daughter: Jean Wright, Lawrenceville; Step-Sons: Michael Wilbanks & Jeffery Wilbanks (Broyna), both of Cumming; Sister: Grace M. Dobson, Lawrenceville; Grandchildren: Brandon, Jereme & Kristen Wright; Jessica & Shane Strickland; Johnathan Wilbanks; Several Nieces & Nephews. The Family will receive friends from 2 - 4 & 6 - 9 PM Sunday, June 17, 2007 at Tim Stewart Funeral Home, 300 Simonton Road, Lawrenceville, GA 30045, 770-962-3100.
