Sullivan - Van Buren
Christy Denise Sullivan and Matthew Benjamin Van Buren were married April 28 at Chateau Elan. Judge Melodie Conner officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Linda Rateliff of Texarkana, Texas, and the late T.C. Rateliff. She is a summa cum laude graduate of Emory University, where she received a master's degree in nursing. She is employed by Gwinnett Emergency Specialists and Gwinnett Medical Center as a family nurse practitioner.
The groom is the son of Pat and Lynne Van Buren of Snellville. He is employed by the Gwinnett County Sheriff's Department as a deputy sheriff and SWAT team member.
Rachel Van Buren served as the flower girl.
The ring bearers were Jake Van Buren and Jett Roberts.
After a honeymoon in Italy, the couple now resides in Braselton.
Borner - Wiebel
Jessica Paige Borner and Beau John Wiebel were married May 19, 2006, in Destin, Fla. The Rev. Ray Angerman officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Max and Terri Borner of Bethlehem. She is a graduate of the University of Georgia, where she received a bachelor's degree in marketing. She is employed by Nordson Corporation in the marketing department.
The groom is the son of Edward and Sandra Wiebel of Boonsboro, Md. He is a graduate of the University of Georgia, where he received a bachelor's degree in marketing. He is employed by FineLine Technologies in sales.
Star Borner of Atlanta, sister of the bride, served as the bride's maid of honor.
Robin Rundbaken of Dacula, sister of the bride, served as the bride's matron of honor.
Bridesmaids were Summer Andrews of Tucker, Summer Franklin of Cumming, and Amanda Rankin, sister of the groom, of Hagerstown, Md.
Edward Wiebel of Boonsboro, Md., father of the groom, served as the groom's best man.
Groomsmen were Sean Borner of Suwanee, brother of the bride, Jake Reid of Atlanta, Barry Wynn of Cincinnati, Jim Sellers of Bentonville, Ark., OJ Keller of Baltimore, and Charles Rankin, brother-in-law of the groom, of Hagerstown, Md.
After a honeymoon in Jamaica, the couple now resides in Suwanee.
Myron A. and Caroline Vose Boggs of Lawrenceville recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. They were married on March 22, 1947 in St. Cloud, Minn. Myron served in the Merchant Marines and Army in WWII and he met Caroline in Colorado Springs, Colo.
The couple celebrated by reaffirming their vows at Central Baptist Church in Lawrenceville. Their daughters gave them a reception. The couple has four children: Linda and Sparks Ramey, Joan and Gerald Blaney, Tim and Vicki Boggs and Rebecca McMillan. They also have eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Myron owned Butler Boggs T.V. with Grady Butler and he worked for the tax department in Douglas and Gwinnett counties before retiring. Caroline is retired from Sears.
