Motorcyclist dies in head-on crash
•SNELLVILLE - A local motorcyclist was killed on Friday after a head-on collision with a Chevrolet Avalanche on Lee Road near Telida Trail in Snellville.
Gary Stephen Wilson, 24, was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident, which occurred at 7:51 p.m.
Wilson, who lived in Loganville, was attempting to pass a vehicle in front of him in a non-passing zone when his motorcycle hit the Avalanche, a preliminary investigation by the Gwinnett County Police Department indicated.

•NORCROSS - A driver accidentally accelerated and went through the glass front doors of a Norcross QuikTrip at 5:46 p.m. Saturday.
No one inside the store was injured. The man driving the car had some minor injuries but did not require transportation to a hospital, said Gwinnett County Fire Department spokesman Lt. Thomas Rutledge.
Rutledge said there was no structural damage to the store, which is located near the intersection of South Norcross-Tucker Road and Old Norcross Road.
