Peter N. Fedyk of Lawrenceville, Georgia died suddenly on Wednesday morning, May 30, 2007. A native of Cohoes, New York, Mr. Fedyk is survived by his wife, Kathleen A. Fedyk, his son, Nicholas and daughter-in-law, Jocelyn, his daughter, Erika and son-in-law, Jody, his son, Matthew, and two grandchildren, Peter and Darby. Mr. Fedyk is also survived by his mother, Dorothy Fedyk and his sister, Carol Bader of Sharon Springs, NY, and his nieces, Julie Brizzee of Cobleskill, NY, Lynne Lawyer of Howes Cave, NY and Janice Bader of Bethel, Connecticut. Educated in the school of the Albany Capital District, Mr. Fedyk graduated from Shaker High School, Hudson Valley Community College, and completed his studies in architecture at the University of Miami. Mr. Fedyk came to Atlanta in 1973 and moved to Gwinnett County in 1977. He is a parishioner of St. Marguerite D'Youville Catholic Church and is an active member of the St. Vincent DePaul Society. Mr. Fedyk enjoyed a varied and exciting career working for many local and national architectural firms. Most recently he was employed by Merrick Company as their Senior Design Architect and Discipline Lead. There will be a viewing on Friday, June 1, 2007 at Wages & Sons Funeral Home, 1031 Lawrenceville Highway, Lawrenceville, Georgia from 4:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M., and a Mass of the Resurrection on Saturday morning June 2, 2007 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Marguerite D'Youville Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations in Mr. Fedyk's memory to the St. Vincent DePaul Society of St. Marguerite's Catholic Church, 85 Gloster Road, Lawrenceville, Georgia 30045. May perpetual light shine upon him and may he rest in peace.
