Grady Palmour, Jr., age 73, of Duluth, GA, died Thursday, May 31, 2007. Mr. Palmour, born in Dawson County, GA, was a supervisor at General Motors Doraville Plant for 30 years, retiring in 1982. He loved fishing with his son and spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held 2 PM Saturday, June 2, 2007 at Bill Head Funeral Homes, Duluth Chapel with Rev. Lamar Hansard officiating. Interment will be in Peachtree Memorial Park, Norcross, GA. Mr. Palmour was preceded in death by his brother: Roy “Snookum” Palmour of Lawrenceville and a great-grandchild: Will. Survivors include his wife of 55 years: Ruth Palmour of Duluth; Son and Daughter-in-law: Bill and Linda Palmour of Duluth; Daughter: Debbie Haefele of Gainesville, GA; Daughters and sons-in-law: Karen and Charles Brock of Auburn, GA, Kim and Troy Bjork of Hoschton, GA; Sister and brother-in-law: Bonnie and Richard Rather of Perrysberg, OH; Sister: Betty Jo Rozin of Gainesville, FL; Brother and sister-in-law: Harold and Betty Palmour of Alpharetta; Grandchildren: Robin, Amy, Jamie, Lisa, and Ashley; Great-grandchildren: Michael, Stephany, Savannah, Kaitlyn, Savannah, and Jacob; and many nieces and nephews.
