DULUTH - Primerica, Gwinnett County's fifth-largest employer, will host Atlanta's largest corporate meeting this week at the Georgia World Congress Center.
The company's summer convention will start Saturday and is expected to draw more than 55,000 representatives. The convention will conclude Aug. 5. The event has an economic impact on metro Atlanta of more than $57 million, a press release indicated. Gov. Sonny Perdue and Primerica co-CEO John A. Addison Jr. will officially open the event. Primerica has more than 100,000 licensed representatives and is the largest financial services marketing organization in North America. The company employs 1,800 associates at its headquarters in Duluth.More like this story
