Surviving are: Daughter and Son-in-Law: Wanda Reeves and Ernest Jackson, Royston, GA; Sons and Daughters-in-Law: Ted W. and Lesa Reeves, Sparta, GA, Carlton P. Reeves, Jefferson, GA, Elwood and Sherry Reeves, Jefferson, GA, Ricky and Vickie Reeves, Oakwood, GA; Step-Daughter: Madeline and King Guerro, McDonough, GA; Nine Grandchildren; 13 Great Grandchildren; Two Great-Great Grandchildren; Sisters: Anna Bell McDougald, Flowery Branch, GA, Thelma Tullis, Buford, GA; Several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mrs. Cruse was a native of Forsyth County, GA, born on July 13, 1924. She was retired from Lovable Company in Buford, GA. She was a member of Roanoke Baptist Church, Cumming, GA. Her life wasn't easy, her days were long and hard. She asked for very little, but gave all she had. She loved her family, she defined the word “mother”. She was our mother, our defender, our biggest fan, and our best friend. She led us in the ways of our Lord and prayed for us when we strayed. She loved us unconditionally, so who will care for us like mama did? Only God could love us that much. We'll miss her but we'll see her again one day, and what a day that will be. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 20, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Jack Pierce and Rev. Charles Pirkle officiating. Interment to follow in Broadlawn Memorial Gardens, Buford, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 6:00-9:00 p.m. Arrangements by Junior E.
