WINDER - A Winder man stabbed Sunday remains in good condition following surgery at Barrow Regional Medical Center.
Jaiferal Lee, 30, is expected to recover after suffering stab wounds to the arm, back and chest about 10:30 p.m. Sunday. James Pierre Giles, 19, of Lawrenceville, and John David Baker, 21, of Statham, remain in the Winder jail without bond. Giles is charged with aggravated battery and Baker is charged with party to the crime of aggravated battery. Both men could face additional charges.
Lee was stabbed near the intersection of King Street and Wood Avenue when an argument that began in a Williamson Street home turned violent. The altercation grew from a disagreement the two men had several years ago over a woman, Lt. Todd Druse said, spokesman for the Winder Police Department.
Winder Police Detective Rachel Love has identified the fourth suspect in the fight but has not yet released the man's name.
