Post photographer receives promotion

Jason Braverman, who has worked at the Daily Post for three years, has been promoted to photo editor.

Braverman, 28, moved to Gwinnett to take a job as staff photographer. He was born and raised in South Florida. He graduated from the University of Florida with a journalism degree in 2002.

Since joining the Post in 2004, Braverman has won eight different awards for his photography work including photo of the year awards from the Associated Press and the Southern Newspaper Publishers Association.

"Jason is a hard worker, and his awards show his ability as a photographer," said Editor Todd Cline. "I look forward to seeing the good things he'll do with the photo department."
