Paula Jean Abernathy and Jonathon Lee Thompson were married May 19 at Grayson United Methodist Church. The Rev. Philip Schroeder officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Clay Abernathy of Snellville and Patti Ayer of Frostburg, Md. She attended South Gwinnett High School. She is attending Georgia Perimeter College. The groom is the son of Bill and Diana Thompson of Snellville. He attended South Gwinnett High School. He is employed by Snellville Auto Center. Rachel Hillenbrand of Minnesota, sister of the bride, served as the bride's matron of honor. Tom Thompson of Loganville, brother of the groom, served as the groom's best man. After a honeymoon at Cuscowilla Resort on Lake Oconee, the couple now resides in Grayson.More like this story
