Brand - Branch

Kimberly Alicia Brand and Thomas G. Branch Jr. were married on Dec. 8 at the home of Joe and Jalaine Brand in Dacula. The Rev. Chuck Christy officiated the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Joe and Jalaine Brand of Dacula. She is a graduate of Parkview High School. She is a graduate of East Tennessee State University, where she received a bachelor's degree in nursing. She is employed in the neuroscience ICU Unit at Gwinnett Medical Center.

The groom is the son of Tom Branch Sr. and Martha Branch of Hartwell. He is a graduate of Parkview High School and DeKalb Community College, where he received a degree in paramedic technology. He is employed as a fire lieutenant with the Gwinnett County Fire and Emergency Services in Suwanee.

After a honeymoon to San Antonio and Del Rio, Texas, the couple now resides in Hoschton.

Meadows - Shivers

Elizabeth Carrell Meadows and Thomas William Shivers were married on Sept. 23 in Lowndesboro, Ala. The Rev. Jack Beall officiated the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Todd Meadows Jr. of Lowndesboro. Ala. She is employed as a coach of short term missionaries at Mission to the World.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest George Shivers Jr. of Snellville. He is the owner of Capture Commerce, a search engine marketing company.

Melanie Benedict of Decatur served as the bride's maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Tammy Meadows of Lowndesboro, Ala., Aubretia Meadows of Birmingham, Ala., Denise Shivers of McDonough, Ellen Faulks of Boone, N.C. and Gina Belladonna of Duluth.

Ernie Shivers, father of the groom, served as the best man. Groomsmen were Gip Meadows of Montgomery, Ala., Kirk Meadows of Lowndesboro, Ala., Neil Meadows of Birmingham, Ala., Steve Shivers of McDonough and Rusty Faulks of Boone, N.C.

After a honeymoon to Mexico, the couple now resides in Lawrenceville.

Minyard - Hall

Jessica Ann Minyard and Brannon Cale Hall were married on Dec. 2 at The Carl House in Auburn. The Rev. Jim Crews officiated the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Angeli and Larry Long of Duluth and Gary Minyard of Sierra Vista, Ariz. She is the granddaughter of Larry and Clarice Minyard of Sierra Vista, Ariz. She is a graduate of Buena High School in Sierra Vista, Ariz. She is employed with Professional Association of Georgia Educators in Atlanta.

The groom is the son of Delford and Wanda Hall of Pendergrass. He is a graduate of Dacula High School. He is employed with Blockbuster as a store manager.

Terri Kay Lundsford of Corpus Christi, Texas, served as the bride's matron of honor. Allison Whitley of Leesville, La., served as a bridesmaid.

Anna Marie Brandt of Corpus Christi, Texas, and Saylor Crockum of Tallulah Falls served as flower girls.

Dustan Hall of Flowery Branch served as the groom's best man. Christopher Long of Buford served as a groomsman.

After a honeymoon to Cancun, Mexico, the couple now resides in Buford.
