LubeFasts become oil drop points
•LAWRENCEVILLE - All American LubeFast locations are now public waste oil drop-off center.
Any consumers that have used motor oil or oil filters may drop off these items at their local American LubeFast service location. Waste oil and filters are banned from household garbage disposal and landfills in the United States.
According to the U.S. Department of Environmental Protection Agency, more than 200 million gallons of used motor oil are improperly disposed of each year. The oil is generally dumped into sewers, on the ground, or in household trash cans and eventually becomes the largest single source of pollution in our nation's waterways.
American LubeFast service centers are located in Lawrenceville, Cumming, Norcross, Atlanta and Woodstock. To find an American LubeFast service center, visit www.lubefast.com.
