Mr. Manny Adams, age 75, of Bethlehem, GA, formerly of Lilburn, died January 7, 2007. Mr. Adams retired 15 years ago with 18 years of service from Druid Hills Golf and Country Club as the assistant general manager. Mr. Adams was born in Newfoundland, Canada in 1931 to Aaron and Leah Holloway Adams. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Shirley Adams of Bethlehem; daughters and sons-in-law, Laura Greer and Ronnie Watts of Bethlehem and Carrie and Michael Slay of Monroe; brothers and sisters-in-law, Donald and Ena Adams of Winnipeg, Canada and Baxter and Elsie Adams of Melton, Newfoundland; sisters and brothers-in-law, Myra and Morley Taylor, Jane and Frank Wiseman, Rowena Brown, Josephine and Bill Noseworthy, and Ina Adams, allof Newfoundland; former son-in-law, Brinkley Starr of Lawrenceville; grandchildren, Brian Greer, Selena Starr and Jennifer Greer; great grandchildren, Nicholas Greer and Ellyanna Greer. Lillie Mae Beck Cavanaugh Rice, 75, died peacefully at home and surrounded by her family just two weeks before her 76th birthday on January 7, 2007. A Graveside Service was held at 3:00PM, Tuesday, at Crestview Memorial Park in Rural Hall. A native of Forsyth County, she was the daughter of the later Mary M. Simmons and Marvin P. Beck. She was a homemaker and thoroughly enjoyed her family and their times together. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dalton L. Cavanaugh, Sr. and a son, Tommy Wayne Cavanaugh. Survivors include her daughter and son in law, Donna Childress and Tony of Thomasville, and daughter, Renee C. Burchett of Walkertown; son and daughter in law, Dalton Lee Cavanaugh, Jr. and Lea Anne of Buford, GA; sister, Dorcas McNeil; brothers, Jack, Tom, and Rev.
