Mr. Forrest A. Miller, Jr., age 79, of Buford, GA, passed away on Monday, January 8, 2007. Surviving are: Wife of 53 Years: Mrs. Jean E. Miller, Buford, GA; Daughters and Son-in-Law: Linda Cook, Dacula, GA, Debbie and Clark Spratlin, Cumming, GA; Sons and Daughter-in-Law: Richard and Andrea Miller, Alpharetta, GA, Kenneth Miller, Buford, GA; Seven Grandchildren: Kristin Cook Ledford and husband, Tommy Ledford, Sean Cook, Kaitlin Cook, all of Dacula, GA, Amber Miller, Lawrenceville, GA, Samantha Spratlin, Jillian Spratlin, Alexis Spratlin, all of Cumming, GA; Former Son-in-Law: Jerry E. Cook, Jr., Buford, GA; Former Daughter-in-Law: Cheryl Miller, Lawrenceville, GA. Mr. Miller was born on March 9, 1927 in Shelbyville, KY. He retired after 25 years of service from Phillips Petroleum Company in Atlanta, GA. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was a Mason and a member of the Fellowship Lodge in Tampa, FL. He was a graduate of Tampa Business College and was of the Methodist faith. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 10, 2007 at 3:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Pastor Eric Fitzgerald officiating. Interment in Broadlawn Memorial Gardens, Buford, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 7:00-9:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 17 Executive Park, Suite 115, Atlanta, GA 30329-2012, or to the American Lung Association, 2452 Spring Road, Smyrna, GA 30080 in memory of Forrest A.
