Wayne Clayborn, age 56 of Dacula, died Sunday, February 18, 2007. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM, Wednesday, February 21, 2007 in the Lawrenceville Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home. Elder Kenneth Still will officiate. Burial East Shadowlawn Memorial Gardens, Lawrenceville. Mr. Clayborn attended Duluth High School and was a United States Army Veteran serving with the 101st Airborne Division during Vietnam. He was employed by Bowen Family Homes as a building supervisor and was preceded in death by his father, Robert Clayborn; mother, Beautell Campbell; brother, Danny Clayborn; and sister, Mae Oliver Hunter. Survivors include: Wife: Debbie Edwards Clayborn, Dacula; Daughter & Boyfriend: Alea Clayborn & Brad Thomas, Statham; Step Daughter: Stacey Strayhorn; Step Granddaughter: Madison Strayhorn, both of Dawsonville; Brothers: Doug Clayborn, Pine Mountain, Stan Clayborn, Duluth; Sisters: Brenda Little, Shirley Hamilton, both of Lawrenceville; and was loved by several nieces, nephews and other family members. The family wishes to thank Bowen Family Homes for their continued support to the family. Family will receive friends from 2-4 & 6-9 PM, Tuesday, February 20, 2007 at the Tim Stewart Funeral Home, 300 Simonton Road, Lawrenceville, Georgia 30045, 770-962-3100.
