Martha Lucinda Reilly and Jemel Naif David III were married on Nov. 4 at the University of Georgia on Hearty Field. The Rev. Leonard Ezell officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Joseph Michael Reilly of Orange Beach, Ala. and Dorothy Price Reynolds of Wrightsville. She is the granddaughter of Olen Price Sr. and the late Louise Price of Wrightsville and Geraldine Reilly and the late Robert Reilly of Columbus. She is a graduate of the University of Georgia, where she received a bachelor's degree in consumer journalism and fashion merchandising. She is employed as an outside sales representative with Otis Elevator Co. in Atlanta.
The groom is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Jemel Naif David Jr. of Snellville. He is the grandson of Mrs. Harold Lacock and the late Mr. Harold Lacock of Clearwater, Fla. and the late Mr. and Mrs. Jemel Naif David Sr. He is a graduate of the University of Georgia, where he received a bachelor's degree in management information systems. He is employed as the manager of implementation at Horizon Software International in Loganville.
Brittney Rogers of Alpharetta served as the bride's maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Meredith David of Morrison, Colo., Allison Ranck of Easley, S.C., Meredith Phillips of Cumming, Jennifer Fallin of Atlanta and Beth Tamboli of Atlanta.
Jemel David Jr. served as the groom's best man. Groomsmen were Parker Stephens of Alpharetta, Ry Patrick of Augusta, Jeremy Brock of Lawrenceville and Jake Carter of McDonough.
After a honeymoon to Jamaica, the couple now resides in Decatur.
DeAngelo - Lawson
Danielle Jean DeAngelo and Emmett Martin Lawson III were married on Oct. 14 at Smoke Rise Baptist Church in Stone Mountain. The Rev. Ernest Forrester officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank DeAngelo of Palm Coast, Fla. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Allen of Orlando, Fla., and Maria DeAngelo of Leonardtown, Md. She is a graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology. She is employed as a financial analyst with Bank of America.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Emmett Lawson Jr. of Wedowee, Ala., formerly of Snellville. He is the grandson of the late Ocie and Ruth Yabrough and the late Emmett and Lorene Lawson. He is a cum laude graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology. He is employed as a financial analyst with Scientific Atlanta.
Samantha Sinclair, sister of the bride, served as the matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Katherine Adams, Annie Gilmore, Sarah Moore and Maribeth Lawson.
Emmett Lawson Jr. served as the groom's best man. Groomsmen were Michael Nunn, Steven Nichols, Andrew Schroeder, Dustin DeAngelo, Jonathan Sinclair, Stuart Haslup and Matthew Oberstein.
After a honeymoon to the Bahamas, the couple now resides in Atlanta.
