DACULA - The Hebron Christian girls remained undefeated at home as Courtney Odum scored 23 points to help defeat Athens Christian 67-26 on Friday.
Meredith Montgomery had 13 points and six assists while Britt Pecht added 11 points for Hebron. The Hebron girls are now 17-3 overall and 9-1 in the region. GIRLS BASKETBALL Brookwood 56, Parkview 52 SNELLVILLE - Chioma Okoli scored 16 points to help Brookwood cruise past Parkview 56-52 on Friday. Lisa Reid added 12 points for the Broncos while Sczeny Hartry scored 21 for the Panthers. Brookwood's overall record is 17-5 and 10-4 in the region while Parkview is now 12-14 overall, 5-9 in region. Central 53, Shiloh 37 LAWRENCEVILLE - Shawna Land scored 15 points to help Central Gwinnett past Shiloh 53-37 on Friday. Katie Bender added 12 points for Central while Amanda Parker scored 11 points for Shiloh. Central is now 17-6 overall, 10-4 in region. Grayson 41, Meadowcreek 35 NORCROSS - Emily Collins scored 14 points to help the Grayson Rams cruise past Meadowcreek 41-35 on Friday. Genea Williams had 14 points, three assists and two rebounds for the Mustangs. Norcross 62, Duluth 48 NORCROSS - Nicole Jones scored 15 points to help Norcross top Duluth 62-48 on Friday. Tiffany Clarke had 14 points, 17 rebounds and two blocks while Aliegha Parker added 11 points for Norcross. Duluth's Camilla Torres scored 14 points. Norcross is now 7-18 overall and 5-7 in the region. North 48, South Forsyth 45 CUMMING - Elizabeth Sledge scored 13 points to help North Gwinnett defeat Forsyth Central 48-45 on Friday. North's record improves to 11-14. Mill Creek 74, Forsyth Central 55 CUMMING - Shelbie Pool scored 17 points to help lead Mill Creek past Forsyth Central 74-55 on Friday. Porsha Porter had 15 points, five steals and six assists while Amberlie Saxton had 15 points and six rebounds. Mill Creek is now 21-4 overall and 14-2 in region. Wesleyan 68, Decatur 21 NORCROSS - Anne Marie Armstrong had 14 points and six assists to help Wesleyan top Decatur 68-21 on Friday Sarah Delk added 11 points for Wesleyan as its record improves to 19-6. Buford 55, Cross Keys 12 ATLANTA - Victoria Peevy led all scorers with 11 points and Katie Lynn had 10 as Buford (14-11, 9-7) cruised to a 55-12 victory over Cross Keys on Friday. Teri Bennett was Cross Keys' leading scorer with 10 points. BOYS BASKETBALL Parkview 63, Brookwood 51 SNELLVILLE - Yaw Gyawu scored 22 points to help Parkview defeat Brookwood 63-51 on Friday. Bobby Glover added 13 points for Parkview. The Panthers are now 17-8 overall and 9-5 in the region. North 48, South Forsyth 37 CUMMING - Ebuka Anyorah scored 19 points to help North Gwinnett top South Forsyth 48-37 and improve its record to 16-9. Adam Demuyakor had 10 points and 13 rebounds for North. Norcross 80, Duluth 33 NORCROSS - Denzail Jones scored 17 points to help Norcross cruise past Duluth 80-33. Gani Lawal and Al-Farouq Aminu each scored 10 points for Norcross while Greg Carson added 11 for Duluth. Norcross is now 23-2 overall and 16-0 in region. Buford 61, Cross Keys 53 ATLANTA - John Overton scored 21 points to help lead Buford past Cross Keys 61-53. Terrance Birdette added 20 points for Buford. The Wolves are now 17-3 overall and 9-1 in region. Peachtree Ridge 70, North Forsyth 46 SUWANEE - Zach Graham scored 16 points to help Peachtree Ridge top North Forsyth 70-46 on Friday. Kevin Anderson scored 15 points while Cameron Heyward added 14 points for Peachtree Ridge. The Lions are now 22-3 overall and 14-2 in region. Mill Creek 58, Forsyth Central 39 CUMMING - Jermaine Jackson had 18 points and nine rebounds to help Mill Creek top Central Forsyth 58-39 on Friday. Spencer Gay added 16 points for Mill Creek as its record improves to 14-9 overall and 9-7 in region. Meadowcreek 76, Grayson 46 NORCROSS - Chris Allen had 19 points and 10 rebounds to help Meadowcreek defeat Grayson 76-46. Antoine Bolden had 15 points and 10 rebounds while Teondre Williams added 13 points for Meadowcreek. The Mustangs are now 23-2 overall. Decatur 57, Wesleyan 49 NORCROSS - Tanner Smith scored 33 points, but it wasn't enough as Wesleyan fell 57-49 to Decatur Friday night. Erik Strong added 11 points for Wesleyan. The Wolves overall record is now 19-6 and 13-3 in region. Providence 51,Mt. Pisgah 37 LILBURN - The Providence boys wrapped up first place in the upcoming Region 8-A tournament with a 51-37 win over Mt. Pisgah on Friday. Durk Stanton scored 20 points and Andy Vess added 12 for the Stars, who are now 22-3 overall and 11-2 in region. Tony Marelle scored 22 points to lead Mt. Pisgah. Loganville 73, Jackson County 43 JEFFERSON - Luke Baker scored 21 points to help Loganville cruise past Jackson County 73-43 on Friday.
