LAWRENCEVILLE - A Tucker man charged with two counts of child molestation was released Wednesday from the county jail.
Ronell Manfreddy Aguilar, 31, was processed into the jail Tuesday and as of Wednesday night was free on $22,200 bond, said Gwinnett County police spokesman Cpl. Darren Moloney. Moloney did not know if Aguilar was arrested or if he surrendered himself to authorities. He is charged in connection with an Oct. 4 incident involving a 15-year-old girl who was home alone at her Norcross apartment. Entry into the apartment was not forced, as Aguilar at the time was a maintenance worker at the Hunters Pointe apartments, according to the report. Aguilar asked her a number of questions and showed her inappropriate videos and pictures of himself that he had on his cell phone, the report said. The report said Aguilar fondled the girl through her clothes, grabbed her by the waist while on the couch and tried to kiss her. She was able to lean back and push him away, the report said. Management at the apartment complex was not available for comment at press time.More like this story
