Today we must lay our loved one to rest, a man that was a beloved husband, father, and Pop. But, as we do, we must remember as he has said so many times: When one door of happiness closes – another opens; but often we look so long at the closed door that we do not see the one which has been opened before us. (Helen Keller). Today his door to eternal peace and health has opened, and we must not dwell on the closed one, but rejoice for him, and his new life. Tom “POP” will be forever remembered, and missed by a multitude of family and friends to whom he has been a mentor, and had such a positive impact in their lives.
