Wal-Mart to celebrate Three Kings

LILBURN - Santa Claus won't be the only celebrity at the Wal-Mart in Lilburn this holiday season. The Three Kings, an honored Latin American tradition, will also make an appearance.

Latin Americans celebrate Three Kings Day on Jan. 6, a day on which the three wise men who visited the baby Jesus leave gifts for sleeping children - much like the American Santa Claus.

Wal-Mart in Lilburn, as well as select Wal-Marts across the nation, will feature the Hispanic-themed holiday from Dec. 26 to Jan. 6. Customers will be offered Rosca de Reyes (Kings' Cake) and traditional hot chocolate.

Many Wal-Marts will feature the Abuelita (grandmother) Dolls, designed by a Hispanic vendor, that sing traditional Spanish lullabies.

Wal-Mart is located at 4004 Lawrenceville Highway in Lilburn.
