Sports Editor will.hammock@gwinnettdailypost.com Eight Gwinnett football players were on the rosters released on Monday for the upcoming Georgia Athletic Coaches Association's North-South All-Star Football Classic. The eight players included two each from Brookwood, Grayson and Norcross. Players in the North-South game aren't eligible for the inaugural Rivalries of Gwinnett All-Star Game, slated for Friday at Brookwood. The North-South game will be played at 2 p.m. Dec. 29 at Columbus' Memorial Stadium. Brookwood's Kenny Miles, the county's top rusher, is on the North squad along with teammate Eric Grube, an offensive lineman. Grayson center Stephen Bolt and linebacker Tristan Strong were selected for the game, as were the Norcross duo of wide receiver/defensive back Devonta Bolton and free safety Tyler Maloof. Peachtree Ridge defensive back Derrick Bryant and Greater Atlanta Christian tight end/linebacker Christian Robinson also made the North roster. Kenny Moore of Morgan County is the North head coach. Apalachee's Shane Davis is one of his assistants.
