Emily Jane Tripp and Neal Andrew Sheldon were married Oct. 13 at Community of Christ in Alpharetta. Elder Kel Weller officiated the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Dale and Jeannie Tripp of Grayson. She is a 1998 graduate of Shiloh High School. She is a 2002 graduate of Graceland University in Lamoni, Iowa. She is a fourth-year medical student at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta.

The groom is the son of Bart and Barbara Sheldon of Suwanee. He is a 2000 graduate of Duluth High School and a 2004 graduate of Georgia Tech. He is employed as a flight instructor in Augusta.

Kimberly Seidl of Rapid City, S.D., cousin of the bride, served as the bride's matron of honor.

Bridesmaids were Amy Davidson of Dacula, sister of the groom, Nikki Hancock of Smyrna and Marie Hayward of Mableton.

Matthew Sheldon of Decatur, brother of the groom, served as the best man.

Groomsmen were David Davidson of Dacula, brother-in-law of the groom, Davis Jones of Duluth and Michael Wells of Atlanta.

After a honeymoon in Costa Rica, the couple now resides in Augusta.
