Mr. Troy L. Burel, age 87, of Buford, GA passed away on Friday, December 14, 2007. He was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin Webster and Leila Sloan Burel. He is survived by his: Sisters and Brothers-In-Law: Mildred Burel, Buford, GA, Hazel and George Junior Odum, Snellville, GA, Evelyn and Harold Key, Buford, GA, Barbara and Fred Banks, Hoschton, GA; Several Nieces, Nephews and Cousins; Special Friend: Thelma Still, Loganville, GA. Mr. Burel was born November 7, 1920 and was a native of Gwinnett County, GA. He was retired from General Motors Assembly Plant after 30 years of service and was a member of the U. A. W. Local No. 10. He was a member of the Buford Senior Citizens and a member of Buford Masonic Lodge No. 292 F&AM. He was a member of Duncan Creek Congregational Church, Buford, GA, where he also served as deacon. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 17, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at Duncan Creek Congregational Church with Rev. Cedric Banks and Rev. A. J. Mullinax officiating. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery with Masonic Graveside Service. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday evening from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Arrangements by: Junior E.
