Thief takes bag, hunting clothes

DACULA - Hunting clothes and a Bible bag were among the items stolen from a Dacula family's garage Tuesday.

According to a police report, someone broke into the garage of the home on Bold Springs Road and rummaged through the building and a vehicle parked inside.

Wheels stolen from Escalade

SNELLVILLE - Someone immobilized a vehicle sitting on the lot of the Stone Mountain Ford dealership near Snellville Monday, a police report said.

All four tires and wheels were stolen off a Cadillac Escalade at the business on Stone Mountain Highway.

Woman says husband's friend robbed her

NORCROSS - A Norcross woman said she was robbed by a friend of her husband at her apartment on Chase Lane on Tuesday night.

According to a police report, authorities arrested Mario Tamayne Anderson of Norcross, the man the woman said was armed and who she alleges kicked in her door and stole money, alcohol and a cell phone from her residence.

After the woman was able to escape her apartment she called 911 and police located Anderson at a nearby gas station using the woman's description.

Anderson remains at the Gwinnett County Jail without bond on armed robbery, burglary and aggravated assault charges.

$2,000 missing after party

NORCROSS - More than $2,000 was stolen from a Norcross business during a party at the location Wednesday morning, according to a police report.

A Lilburn man said he hosted the party at Zee Bollywood on Rockbridge Road and believed a member of a band performing at the event took the money from a safe.

The suspected thief was reportedly seen near the safe and then leaving.
