Oprah hits trail in Iowa on behalf of Obama's bid

DES MOINES, Iowa - Oprah and Hillary - two women so famous that they are known only by their first name - were vying for the attention of Iowa voters Saturday on opposing sides of the intensely close presidential campaign.

Oprah Winfrey was making her debut on the presidential campaign trail in support of Clinton rival Barack Obama.

Winfrey planned to appear with the Illinois senator and his wife at two Iowa rallies expected to draw thousands - one in Des Moines and another in Cedar Rapids. Then she planned to travel with the couple today to two other key primary election states - New Hampshire and South Carolina.

Judge issues arrest warrant for Daniel Baldwin

LOS ANGELES - A judge issued an arrest warrant for Daniel Baldwin on Friday when the actor didn't show up to court to give a progress report on his drug rehabilitation.

Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Scott Millington issued the no-bail bench warrant and revoked Baldwin's probation after he failed to appear 'without sufficient excuse' and without his lawyer, according to court documents.

Baldwin, brother of actors William, Stephen and Alec Baldwin, was required to meet with the judge in connection with a cocaine-possession case.

Albany honors Ray Charles with plaza, statue

ALBANY - Ray Charles is back in his hometown.

Albany unveiled a revolving, lighted bronze statue of Charles on Friday in the middle of a new downtown plaza that bears the R&B legend's name.

Family members attended the musical ceremony honoring the city's most famous native son, born there in 1930.
