STONE MOUNTAIN - The shopping in Stone Mountain is more about enjoying Christmas than the holiday crunch.
This year, the Main Street Stone Mountain has planned a festive shopping experience at Stone Mountain Village.
From 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, shops and galleries will host a free wine tasting while carolers help shoppers get into the spirit.
"This unique event is free to the public and highlights the wonderfully decorated restaurants, shops and galleries in the village," Main Street Stone Mountain officials wrote in a press release.
Shoppers can also buy wine at the participating venues: The Sycamore Grill, Bundos Italian Market, Wells Cargo Cafe and Continental Coffee and Sweets.
Strollers can also find treats to eat and discounts on merchandise.
Those can be found at The Flower Boutique, Continental Coffee & Sweets, Southern Artistry, Sweet Honey House, Good Sense Fragrances, Art Station Gift Shop II, Stone Mountain Old Post Office Antique Mall, Village Hair Studio and The Cranky Princess.
The holiday songs will be presented by Shiloh High School Carolers and Annistown Road Baptist Church Choir.
Main Street Stone Mountain, the organizer of the event is a private, nonprofit organization devoted to the revitalization of Stone Mountain Village. For more information regarding Main Street Stone Mountain, call 770-498-7334 or visit www.mainstreetstonemountain.com.
