Men rob gas station

DULUTH - A Shell gas station was robbed by three men, two of whom were armed with handguns, according to a police report.

The men entered the store on Satellite Boulevard about 7 p.m. Sunday.

One man reportedly bought two energy drinks and a bag of chips, prompting the clerk to open the cash drawer and allowing another to grab nearly $300 before fleeing.

The clerk said the group consisted of a teenage Hispanic man and two black men.

NORCROSS - A Dunkin' Donuts on Holcomb Bridge Road in Norcross was robbed Tuesday as an employee swept the floors, a police report said.

The employee said he was at the front of the store when two masked men in dark clothing entered displaying guns.

The employee fled to a next door Lens Crafters where he called 911.

A cash box containing $600 was taken from the store, according to the report.

Materials stolen

NORCROSS - Approximately $30,000 worth of building stone was reportedly stolen from some Norcross property in late November.

According to a police report, about 100 pallets of the stone were hauled away from the property on Goshen Springs Road in Norcross. The land is owned by a Tennessee-based business.

A man in a white truck with a Georgia tag was reportedly seen loading the stone and taking it away.
