Eleanor Atkinson “Tootie” Puckett, age 101, of Lawrenceville, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, December 6, 2007. Tootie worked for E. R. Partridge Co. in Atlanta for over 50 years and was a member of Central Baptist Church in Lawrenceville. She was preceded in death by her husband, H. Roy Puckett; brother, William Irvin “Preacher” Atkinson and sister in law, Montine. She is survived by her nephew, Bill & Betty Atkinson of Lawrenceville; niece, Jan & Roger Kulz of Boston, MA; great nieces & nephews, Karen & Larry Still, Debbie & Gary Fine, Jeff & Leigh Atkinson, and Jason & Stephanie Atkinson; great great nephews, Austin Atkinson and Jacob Atkinson. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 8, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at Wages & Sons Gwinnett Chapel with Rev. Cecil Clegg officiating. Burial Westview Cemetery in Atlanta. The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 6 o'clock until 8 o'clock at Wages & Sons Gwinnett Chapel, 1031 Lawrenceville Highway, Lawrenceville, 770-277-4550.
