Cassandra Elizabeth Dechko and Shaun Christopher Thamer were married June 9 at Grayson United Methodist Church. The Rev. Phil Schroeder and Doug Dechko, uncle of the bride, officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Greg and Debby Dechko of Grayson. She is attending Brenau University, where she is pursuing a degree in early childhood education.
The groom is the son of Steve and Melinda Thamer of Lawrenceville. He is a graduate of Georgia Tech, where he received a bachelor's degree in computer engineering. He is employed by National Cash Register in Duluth.
Tanya Bongiovanni of Lawrenceville served as the bride's maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Crystal Simpson of Augusta, Kayla Pittman of Ashburn and Tricia Enloe of Lilburn.
Jeremy Thamer of Yulee, Fla., brother of the groom, served as the groom's best man.
Groomsmen were Ernie Fulton of Jacksonville, Fla., Roman Savaryn of Bellevue, Wash., and Jonathan Dechko of Lawrenceville, brother of the bride.
After a honeymoon to Dublin, Ireland, the couple now resides in Lawrenceville.
