Andy Roddick, the world's fourth-ranked tennis player, will play an exhbition match Dec. 15 at the Arena at Gwinnett Center as a part of the Infinite Engery Atlanta Slam.
Roddick has won 22 ATP titles, including the U.S. Open. He will face Atlanta ATP product Robby Ginepri in an exhibition as part of three matches on the night. Ginepri was a semifinalist at the 2005 U.S. Open. The other men's match features another Georgia product, Scoville Jenkins, who was the first black tennis player to win the USTA 18s national title in over 96 years. His foe is 19-year-old Sam Querrey, who recently set an Open Era record with 10 consecutive aces. One women's match is on the schedule, pitting Georgia native Ashley Harkleroad against 15-year-old Melanie Oudin of Marietta. Harkleroad is ranked 86th in the world while Oudin recently competed in her first Junior Wimbledon.
