Mr. Alfred “Al” Stapp, age 52, of Auburn, GA, passed away on August 20, 2007. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Peggy Langford Stapp. Surviving are: Daughter: Susan Nicole Stapp, Auburn, GA; Grandsons: Kasey Garrison, Lula, GA, Jayden Alexander Grier, Auburn, GA; Brothers: Randy Stapp, Carnesville, GA, Barry Stapp, Carnesville, GA, Johnny Stapp, Lula, GA; Aunts: Valerie and John Shinall, Greensboro, GA, Doris Stapp, Baltimore, MD; Several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mr. Stapp was born in DeKalb County, GA on November 15, 1954. He was a plant supervisor for Besco Steel Company and was of the Baptist faith. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 23, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Sam Parsons officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Arrangements by Junior E.
