NORCROSS - Gwinnett Police interrupted a Saturday night home invasion in which two of the victims had aided the invaders, according to a statement released by the Gwinnett County Police Department.
The arrests involved one of two cases worked this weekend by the department's newly formed robbery task force.
A woman flagged down a Gwinnett police officer about midnight Saturday. She told him that armed men had her boyfriend and several victims bound with tape inside her boyfriend's apartment at The Corners, 1211 Concepts Drive in Norcross. Robbery task force officers surrounded the apartment and got in.
Officers learned that two women bound with tape, thought to be victims, were actually working with the invaders, reports state. When the women went inside the apartment with the men who lived there, they left the door unlocked for the two men to enter, according to police reports.
Eric Rowe, 22, of Decatur; Ryon Lewis, 22, of Decatur; Toya Sherrrard, 19, of Austell; and Darneshia Dennis, 20, address unknown, were all charged with armed robbery.
