"For the first time in our history, we will play a proactive role in the creation of exciting new musicals," said Allan Vella, general manager of the Fox Theatre, in a press release. "Many of these musicals will go on to play Broadway stages around the world and, of course, at home here at the fabulous Fox Theatre." Based on the film of the same name, "Saved!" is set at a Christian high school where students, teachers and parents find faith in unexpected places. The first of these performances is scheduled to be performed on Broadway during the 2009-10 season.More like this story
