Thompson presents art at exhibit
Jessica Ellen Thompson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jeffery Thompson of Lawrenceville, presented her senior commercial art at an exhibit at Pensacola Christian College in Pensacola, Fla. It was on display for two weeks in March and April. Thompson is a senior and working on her bachelor's degree in visual arts with a concentration in commercial art.
Clyde earns AAMA certification
Kimberly L. Clyde of Duluth passed the American Association of Medical Assistant's Certified Medical Assistant examination. She earned the Certified Medical Assistant credential. Clyde is a graduate of the medical assisting program at Gwinnett Technical College in Duluth. She is employed by Duluth Family Medicine.
Students graduate from Vanderbilt
The following students graduated from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tenn. Megan Elizabeth Mitchler of Lawrenceville graduated cum laude and received a bachelor's degree in history and political science. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William H. Mitchler of Lawrenceville. From Snellville: Jennifer Marie Martin, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert M. Martin, graduated magna cum laude and received a bachelor's degree in human and organizational development. Rebecca Ann Panter, daughter of Willis H. Panter, graduated magna cum laude and received a bachelor's degree in German. Ventzislav Guergiev Stoytchev, son of Mr. G. and Dr. M. Stoytchev, graduated magna cum laude and received a bachelor's degree in economics and German.
