Truel M. Braswell and Joyce S. Braswell of Carnesville, formerly of Buford, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. They were married June 28, 1957 at Sweetwater Church of God in Sweetwater, Tenn.
The couple celebrated with two receptions. One was held at Buford Church of God, Ed T. Braswell Memorial Center with their family and friends. The second reception was held at Cohutta Lodge in Chatsworth with their son, family from Tennessee and Georgia. The couple's two children are Tony Braswell of Buford and the late Keith Braswell. They have five grandchildren.More like this story
