Obama speaks out on rap to Vibe magazine

n NEW YORK - Barack Obama is now officially hot - he's on the cover of Vibe magazine.

In a profile for the 14th anniversary issue of the music and lifestyle glossy, the Democratic presidential candidate clarifies his views on rap. Though he had a high-profile meeting with rap star Ludacris last fall, he was also quoted by The Associated Press in April as saying that rappers were 'degrading their sisters. That doesn't inspire me.'

'Prison Break' actor to undergo evaluation before DUI sentencing

n BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. - Lane Garrison, who pleaded guilty to vehicular manslaughter and drunken driving in a crash that killed a teenage passenger, was ordered Thursday to undergo a 90-day evaluation to help a judge decide his sentence.

The former 'Prison Break' actor will undergo a 'diagnostic' by parole officers and psychologists in a prison before returning for an Oct. 31 appearance before Superior Court Judge Elden S. Fox.

Son of Stewart sued for assault

n LOS ANGELES - Rod Stewart's son has been sued by a man who claims Sean Stewart beat him up at a Hollywood nightclub last year.

The lawsuit, filed Tuesday in Los Angeles by Daniel Refoua, accuses Stewart of assault, battery, false imprisonment, negligence and intentional infliction of emotional distress.

O'Donnell and wife expecting their fifth child

n NEW YORK - Chris O'Donnell and his wife, Caroline Fentress, are expecting their fifth child.

When asked about his four children during an appearance on NBC's 'Today' show, the 37-year-old actor said there was 'another on the way.'

'We're just starting to figure out how it works,' he said Wednesday. 'I think I know why this is happening, but we're gonna figure it out. Very excited, though.'
